Each type of fishing requires a varied set of tackle based on the species, season, and water conditions. At Skyway Bait & Tackle, our goal is to catch more fish. For this reason, we provide the tackle you need – without all the fluff.
Bait shops can overwhelm you with walls of hooks, lures, lines, sinkers, rods, reels, bait, lures, spears, nets, gaffs, traps, waders, and tackle boxes. Too many options can lead to indecision, and that indecision can cost you time and money – not catching fish.
Our shop aims to provide tackle that’s simple and effective. We are real anglers with real experience using real gear. Our owner, Eric Gilbert, even started his own tackle company to assure anglers the products they need to catch more fish!
Regardless of the tackle you currently have, we highly recommend you stop in and chat with our staff. They can direct you through the steps necessary to catch more fish. And in the instance that they can’t go over it all with you in-house, we have a team of Captains in the area running charters and ready to take you fishing.
